📄️ Introduction
The event capture and ingestion engine is the heart of your customer data infrastructure. It processes events in real-time and directs them to specific consumers or warehouses. In the case of Omni CDI, this role is fulfilled by Omni Analytics. Omni Analytics converts unstructured or semi-structured raw data from various sources into enriched, well-structured payloads for downstream consumption. Operating as a Dockerized application, Omni Analytics can be easily deployed in your cloud environment.
📄️ Motivation
In a world where the main focus is often on data volume, Omni Analytics also places a strong emphasis on data quality and the acquisition of knowledge from data. We believe that more data is valuable only if it yields more knowledge. Omni Analytics aims to maximize knowledge per unit of data processed. This is achieved by processing raw, unstructured events early in the data flow and minimizing the noise they carry.
📄️ Installation
Omni Analytics is a Dockerized application primarily intended for deployment on your own cloud infrastructure to fulfill one of the tenets of Omni CDI: maximum data ownership. This guide will help you set up your own platform deployment using Docker and Terraform. Please note that Omni Analytics is currently not licensed as an open-source platform, so the guide below will only be relevant if we're collaborating.
